The folks who wrote this seem to been pretty unfamiliar with
the accepted standards of distributing share/free-ware.
I re-packaged it into a ZIP file, added version numbers, and
launched it into cyberspace. Their documentation is pretty crappy, too.
All that verbiage, but no crisp, clean statement of what it does!
The assumption that your 1st physical hard drive is C, and your 2nd hard
drive is D is ancient.... The baseline system now comes with a 200-300MB
drive. And people in the know split it up into several partitions of
128MB, to avoid the wasted space of large clusters.
And anyway, this should have been named "SPINDOWN", not "SLEEP", cause
there are several other programs called some variant of sleep, which
have nothing in common with this.
So here goes:

SPINDOWN Quickstart
----------------
Spindown is a program to spin down your disk(s) if it has not been used for
a period if time. The drive will automatically spin up again when you access
it. This is just like the disks in laptop computers usually work.
This is *not* a TSR, it just sends "powerdown mode" commands to the disk
drive. SO it does not consume any of the computers RAM memory.
This works ONLY on IDE disks. Not all disks support this feature.
To use it do:
SPINDOWN C t --- Where:
"C" is the physical drive.
"C" for the 1st physical disk
"D" for the 2nd physical disk
"t" is the timeout in minutes 1--255.
"0" to disable spindown mode.
